5/93 to Present HealthChoice Administrators, Portland, Oregon
As a contractor, I provided a detailed written evaluation of the
current status of Information Systems Resources and provided
recommendations to assist in their migration from Mini-Computer
to LAN. Installed a variety of new software and hardware
including a communications server and a CD-ROM server. Acted in
a Software/User Support role, primarily.
LAN Administrator/
Access Control Manager
8/91 to 5/93 Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
Designed, procured, installed, debugged, and maintained Novell
based LAN (10 Base 2). Responsible for the daily operation and
maintenance of same. Purchased and installed full range of
software for the LAN, including the maintenance of large
x-base dbase. Designed, wrote, documented, and maintained
a number of x-base applications. Assisted in the purchase and
installation of Automated Access Control System ($0.5 Million),
and was responsibile for the management of the system once
installed.
EDUCATION:
Novell Certified Engineering Program: exams on Version 2.2 and 3.11,
System Administrator and Advanced, and DOS completed 8/93. Anticipate
CNE Certification 9/93.
Reactor Fuel Security Officer program: 1000 hour training program
completed 1991. Extensive training in Security and Surveillance.
Nuclear Engineer Program, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard: Qualified as
journeyman Engineer 1989.
Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia: Nuclear Engineering
Program (4 years, no degree).
